Optimal sunlight

For an open space design, my primary objective was to maximize sunlight exposure, giving rise to the Optimal Sunlight Pavilion.

This pavilion emerged after extensive iterations using advanced software tools such as Ladybug and Galapagos. These tools meticulously analyzed and optimized surrounding environmental factors, including the placement of trees and pathways, to create a configuration that ensured the pavilion received the highest possible levels of sunlight.

Once the optimal form of the pavilion was established, the next step was to develop a facade design. By employing attractor points, a dynamic and responsive facade pattern was generated, meticulously calibrated to permit maximum sunlight penetration into the space, further enhancing the pavilion’s luminous and open atmosphere.
