This project reimagines Melbourne’s 530 Collins Street by stripping its postmodern ornamentation to reveal a streamlined, modernist core focused on functionality. This adaptive refurbishment respectsthe building’s architectural roots while introducing a minimalist aesthetic that prioritizes purposeful spaces.Carved voids replace decorative extrusions, and new green terraces reconnect urban life with nature. By dedicating areas to support startups alongside commercial, residential, and cultural spaces, this design fosters a vibrant, inclusive community.This refurbishment bridges the past and present, transforming the tower into a resilient hub that adapts to Melbourne’s evolving needs and breathes new life into Collins Street.
