Statue of the Ocean
Coral reefs, often referred to as nature's own cities, are intricate ecosystems that thrive through the collaboration of countless organisms. For this project, I sought to draw inspiration from these extraordinary natural formations to design structures that humans could occupy and engage with.
In the modern world, we are predominantly surrounded by man-made geometry, with our homes and environments defined by conventional forms. Yet, there is a wealth of organic and irregular shapes within nature that remain largely unseen by the everyday human eye.
By incorporating such forms into architectural design, I believe we can ignite a sense of wonder and curiosity, encouraging people to not only appreciate architecture in new ways but also to explore the outdoors more actively. The introduction of these captivating, natural-inspired forms could create an immersive experience, inviting individuals to engage with their surroundings in a deeper, more meaningful manner.
